🛫 Gloucester City Council spent almost £400,000 on external consultants in the past 12 months, half of which was for advice and guidance on selling Gloucestershire Airport. 🦢 Swans and cygnets got ‘imprisoned’ in a silt trap at Saintbridge Balancing Pond while foraging for food and needed help from nearby residents. Calls have been made for work on the nature spot so it doesn’t happen again. - Gloucester News Centre, via LDRS

🤖 AI is a threat to the livelihood of artists and illustrators, according to one based in Gloucester. Nich Angell said the technology exists ‘to replace the artist entirely’ after the House of Lords rejected an amendment to the Data (Use and Access) Bill. - BBC Gloucestershire
