👩🏫 The process of closing a Gloucester primary school so it can merge with a neighbouring one is being poorly managed, according to one city councillor - Alastair Chambers - who’s worried about the impact. 📈 Gloucestershire County Council is proposing a 5% rise on its portion of the council tax bill as it asks residents for their input. 👮 A crackdown on domestic abuse has seen 55 people arrested across Gloucestershire in just eight days. One man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of punching his partner in the face, while a man in his 40s was taken into custody after punching his mother in the face. In another incident, a man aged in his 30s was arrested for assaulting a woman as she held a child and 14 men have been arrested for stalking, harrassing or sending malicious communications. - Gloucestershire Constabulary
