🚏 Longlevens has lost a direct connection ‘to the rest of the world’, a bus user claims, after National Express suspended pick-ups from the Cheltenham Road bus stop while work on the new Cycle Spine is done. The company said it’s only a temporary measure. - Gloucestershire Live
💼 Gloucestershire County Council’s new leaders need to ‘manage the public’s expectation’ after saying there’s not enough money to fix potholes. 🚒 Protests were held outside Shire Hall for the first meeting of the county council’s new cabinet. 🏗️ Ten 100-tonne steel beams have been lifted into place to form what will be the largest environmental bridge in the UK on the A417 Missing Link. It will be used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders at Shab Hill. - BBC Gloucestershire

🛫 Modernisation forms part of the plans of the preferred bidder for Gloucestershire Airport. The bidder, unnamed at the moment, has been identified by the airport’s joint owners Gloucester City and Cheltenham Borough councils as they look to sell it off. - Gloucestershire Live
