🏡 Developers building a new housing estate in Hempsted only contacted the owner of a so-called ‘ransom strip’ on the site a week ago - having already built 40 homes. The 2ft high dwarf wall is in the path of what needs to become an emergency access route at the Lioncourt Homes development in Hempsted Lane. - Punchline Gloucester

🏗️ The University of Gloucestershire’s city campus is set to open in the summer. 🚨 Two men have been charged with attempted murder over the alleged shooting in Coney Hill in January. They were arrested in Birmingham last week and will next appear in court in April. - Gloucestershire Live
🚨 Windows and furniture were smashed and a dog kicked in a violent outburst in Barton Street. Police are looking for the man responsible after two properties were targeted. - Gloucestershire Live
🚨 Police want to find and thank a man who stepped in to help two officers being attacked by a woman they were attempting to detain. It happened in Wellington Street as several people watched on. - Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing Team
🚨 High risk victims of domestic abuse will be issued with canisters of SmartWater to spray on perpetrators if they approach them, breaking their bail conditions or banning orders. The fluid shows up under UV light and contains a unique code, meaning police can prove someone has been in close contact. - Gloucestershire Constabulary

Street Pastors are volunteers from Churches in the city who go out on Saturday nights to care for and help those in the Night time clubbing economy.
