🚲 A cyclist left with serious injuries after a crash with a car wants motorists to better appreciate how vulnerable other road users are. Rafal Zuchowski suffered a brain injury and a host of fractures in the collision just five minutes from his home. - Gloucestershire Live
⛑️ The owner of a first aid and trauma training firm claims his business is being undermined by Gloucestershire County Council running similar courses. Ben Limbrick has hit out at the authority, saying ‘we are left having to compete against a council which doesn't have to pay for its training rooms, as they are effectively paid by us, in a roundabout way, through the business rates we pay them’. - Punchline Gloucester
🎭 The Kings Theatre in Barton Street is continuing to appeal for urgent funds so it can complete vital structural and safety improvements. It’s had to close for much of this year for the work to be done. - ITV West Country
🏗️ Gloucester City Council has secured a grant of almost £700,000 to carry out preparation work on a site that will ultimately become 45 new homes. The former Wessex House plot in Great Western Road will be made ready for the development using the cash. - Punchline Gloucester
🚌 New coach services to Gloucester are being added by operator Flixbus, with £4 tickets available. It’s among several new destinations being announced by the company as it celebrates its fourth year in the UK. - Gloucestershire Live

🚨 Thousands of pounds worth of electrical cable has been stolen from a building site in Kingsholm Road. Thieves took the cable, which had already been installed, at some point over the weekend. - Gloucestershire Constabulary
🚨 Several cars have been entered or broken into - the latest in a string of similar incidents around Gloucester - with laptops, wallets, cash and more being stolen. Police are again reminding people to make sure their vehicles are locked. - Your Community Alerts

📌 Free football coaching is taking place for children at the Sebert Street Rec in Kingsholm every morning until Thursday, led by Gloucester City AFC Foundation. It’s from 10am-12pm with coaching for 4-7-year-olds in the first hour and 8-11-year-olds from 11am. - Gloucester City AFC Foundation
