👮 Gloucestershire police’s chief constable Rod Hansen has had his suspension lifted and is now filling another role in a different area. An investigation into potential gross misconduct continues though, and Maggie Blyth remains as the force’s interim chief constable. - BBC Gloucestershire
🗺️ The devolution debate rumbles on with the county’s MPs now split on the best route forward. Five of the county’s seven members of Parliament jointly proposed the idea of two authorities, splitting Gloucestershire west and east. But the remaining two - and the county council’s leader - disagree, with a fear it could create a ‘rich and poor’ divide. - Gloucester News Centre

🚨 A pedestrian was badly hurt in an incident in Barton Street where he was hit by a car. The man, in his 30s, is in Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries. - Gloucestershire Live
🚓 A missing woman not seen since January 9th is believed to be in Gloucester. Kylie Badham, 30, left home in South Wales a week ago and police are appealing for help finding her. - Gloucestershire Constabulary
🔍 Did you watch Digging for Britain last night? Archaeologists who found a Roman settlement during the A417 Missing Link works featured. It’s believed to have operated as type of service station on the ‘very busy’ route between Gloucester and Cirencester from the time. - The Guardian
