Wotton Lawn under investigation | Cash injection for docks work | Things to do this weekend
Good morning, welcome to Friday’s Start. I hope you’ve got a great weekend ahead - see you again on Monday.
☁️ Weekend weather: A mixed bag with plenty of cloud cover and keeping relatively cool.

🏗️ The remaining derelict buildings at Gloucester’s waterfront could finally have development work restarted after a £1.5million government grant was agreed. At the same time, a deal to effectively sell the Kimberly, Herbert and Philpott Warehouses at the Docks has also been agreed. 👇
⭕ Opposition councillors have labelled the rollout of 20mph zones around the county a ‘disaster’. They’ve also criticised county council plans to defund the volunteer-led Community Speed Watch, which equipped communities with devices to monitor traffic. - Gloucester News Centre, via the Local Democracy Reporting Service
🍽️ Visited Coro Lounge yet? The latest addition to King’s Square has been open just over a week and its opening was ‘everything we hoped for’, said its manager. - Gloucestershire Live (picture gallery)
