⛅ Weekend weather: Rain expected for much of Saturday, dry but generally overcast otherwise.

🛝 Trampoline and adventure park AirHop will open in Eastern Avenue, close to The Range, this summer. Exact opening dates are yet to be confirmed. - Gloucestershire Live
🧀 A prize Double Gloucester won in the Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling has been used to help feed rough sleepers in north London. Winner Ava Sender Logan donated her ‘delicious’ trophy to the Refugee Community Kitchen. - BBC Gloucestershire
🍳 Celebrity chefs and a whole host of artisan goods will return to the Quays this summer for Gloucester Food Festival. It takes place over July 19th and 20th. - Punchline Gloucester
🛍️ City centre businesses are gearing up for Independents Week at the end of the month/ It shines a spotlight on smaller traders and will see various offers available from June 30th. - Gloucester BID
🐄 More than 350 Gloucester schoolchildren will descend on Cattle Country next week as guests of The Rotary Club. Rotary’s Children’s Fun Day initiative sees days out offered to disadvantaged youngsters. - Punchline Gloucester
🏉 Gloucester is officially home to the best rugby player in the country. Scrum-half Tomos Williams was named Premiership Player of the Season this week, while Sean Lynn and Zoe Aldcroft from Gloucester-Hartpury scooped awards too. - BBC Sport
