🚒 ‘Everyone is ok’ after a fire broke out above a pub yesterday afternoon. Three people were treated by paramedics as firefighters got the incident at The Victoria Inn in Brockworth under control. The pub posted the below message on Facebook afterwards 👇
🧑⚖️ Murderer Tanaka Zivani will serve a minimum of more than 20 years in jail for killing his partner in a jealous rage. Zivani, 32, attacked Zanele Sibanda, 28, in Tredworth last summer. - BBC Gloucestershire
⛅ Today’s weather: There’s a yellow weather warning for wind in place all day, with gusts in Gloucester of over 40mph. Dry, bright and relatively mild otherwise.
⚠️ Saturday-Sunday: A bright, sunny and calmer Saturday, according to the Met Office, gives way to a very wet and windy Sunday as another yellow weather warning arrives.
❓ Questions have been raised about how ambitious plans to ‘put the heart back into Gloucester’ will be paid for. 🧕 Shocking incidents of discrimination have been recounted by a Muslim woman living in Gloucester, who says she no longer wears her headscarf in the city for fear of abuse. Incidents of anti-Semitism have also been on the rise locally since the conflict in Gaza, it’s claimed. - BBC Gloucestershire
